In 1979 Cerdomus took the road of innovation, passing from double-fired glazed tiles to the more innovative working of single-fired white body. In 1996 Cerdomus Ceramiche started building a highly modern plant entirely dedicated to porcelain stoneware for the creation of innovative products of superior aesthetic and technical qualities.

In 1998 Cerdomus expanded its porcelain stoneware production plant and built its new headquarters: a two floor structure in glass and metal, decorated with small handmade bricks in relief depicting original motifs by the sculptor Angelo Biancini, houses the management, business and marketing offices and the showroom.
