Marmi Ghirardi is a family-run business set up in 1938, today in its third generation of activity. Started by Renato Ghirardi in Carpenedolo, in the province of Brescia, as a craft activity in the sector of marble working.

The business is based on a great commitment to work, a close-knit family and an innate skill in the hammer and chisel practice. When his brothers Franco and Rinaldo joined , there was a strong development in its production capacity thanks to the introduction of modern technology, though retaining characteristics of high quality and value. Large-scale production began in the early sixties in Italy.

In the same years commercial relationships with foreign countries started: Western Europe, Eastern Countries, the United States of America, Middle and Far East Countries.

In the nineties the activity evolved through professional resources as well as a high degree of specialization in management and planning.

Marmi Ghirardi works in the sector of natural stones, covering the whole working cycle: from extracting to trade in slabs and blocks, from carrying out projects to technical services, with laying and yard assistance. Owing to more than sixty years of experience and commitment, the use of leading-edge technology and the invaluable contribution of human resources, the business is able to work professionally in a highly complex context, both for the variety of materials and for the technical and operational features.
