Acif was founded in 1962 and soon became one of Sassuolo's leading tile manufacturers.

The company's growth was stimulated by its technological innovations such as the switch to porcelain stoneware and white body tiles.

The 1997 merger with Emilceramica led to productive advantages and industrial expansion, aimed at improving product quality and fully exploiting the different areas of expertise present in the Group's companies.

The effectiveness of the strategies chosen by the company was further confirmed when it achieved UNI EN ISO 9001 certification for the whole production cycle. All of these achievements were realised according to an ecological approach, an aspect of paramount importance for Acif and the Emilceramica group as a whole, and one that is pursued and achieved through the creation of an environmentally friendly production process with pollution levels even lower than legally permitted limits.

Acif recently introduced new product ranges, a new management team and innovative merchandising instruments that form the basis of its brand repositioning strategy.

Several million Euros of investments have equipped Acif with cutting edge production plant, the research team has designed product ranges in line with market trends and developed to anticipate them and the marketing division has devised and created a new corporate identity, catalogues and merchandising tools to boost the exposure of both products and brand.

Acif's new company policy puts wall tiles amongst the priority brand restyling and expansion objectives, a strategic repositioning for tackling new market segments with contemporary products characterised by a high conceptual appeal. Sizes and decors destined to create a bespoke style to suit personal tastes and the individual requirements of the spaces to be furnished.
