Seranit Granit Seramik Sanayi Ticaret A.S. set up the first Porcelain Tile plant in Turkey on an area of 102.000 m2 in Bilecik Organised Industrial Zone at a capacity of 500.000 m2 in 1992. Seranit launched revised investments, and became one of the leading manufacturers in Europe by increasing its capacity to 1.000.000 m2 in 1995, 2.000.000 m2 in 1998 and 2.500.000 m2 in 2004.

The production capacity was increased to 2.500.000 m2 without any additional facility investment in the first half of 2004. Renovations were applied on the production lines and machinery parts with a view to meeting the demands from both domestic markets and developing foreign markets. Seranit got to own the largest technical Porcelain tile plant under a single roof in Europe by increasing its annual production capacity to 8.500.000 m2 thanks to the new facility investment launched in 2005.

Seranit has a distribution channel consisting of 258 dealers, among which 50 dealers have showrooms, in the domestic market and 82 points of sale located in 21 countries in the international arena. European countries such as France, Romania, Hungary, Germany, Bulgaria, Poland, Greece, Belgium and Switzerland, Near Asian countries such as Russia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Moldova, Middle Eastern countries such as Israel, the U.A.E., Qatar, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia also the U.S.A. and Canada are the countries that Seranit exports to currently.

One of the avant-garde enterprises with its quality specifications and dimensional variety, Seranit has been the pioneer of innovations with the activities it performed as intended for expanding the fields of use of its products as well. The manufacturing of large dimension products such as '60x60' and '60x120' cm marked a new beginning in the sector as to applicability of those products on external Facades. Company facilitated indoor and outdoor applications considerably with its '90x90' and '90x135' cm large products and demonstrated once again that it did not know any limits as far as innovations and beginnings are concerned.
